Anak-anak selalu menyenangkan

Ya.. cerita tentang celoteh anak-anak di dalam sebuah keluarga selalu menyenangkan. Pada celoteh kali ini saya ingin berbagi cerita tentang anak-anak yang kebanyakan dari teman-teman saya juga...

Everyone is getting ready to go.
Dad (screaming down the stairs): Maaaatttt, you forget your glasses!
Matt (running upstairs): oh yeah, I'm coming!

A bit later.
Dad: Maattt!! You forget your wallet!
Matt (running upstairs): I'm getting it!

And later on.
Dad: Maattt!!!
Matt (running upstairs): I'm coming!
Dad: Don't forget your head, bring it along too! ...
Matt: ???

Anak-anak punya cara sendiri untuk berbagi ...

There is only one last cup of caramel pudding in the fridge.
Mom (considering): Mich, you can have it. <then holding breath, expecting a storm of protest>
No protest.

Mom: did you hear me, Matt? We only have one cup left. Mich can have it.
Matt: okay.
Mom: you're all right? No fever or something?
Matt: nope.
Mich: want a bite, Matt?
Matt: yeah okay, thanks.
What's going on?!! World peace is coming!! Or the kids are growing up!!

Michelle is a robot today.
During lunch:
Mich (with metallic, toneless voice): Can-I-have-a-bite-of-your-sandwich
Matt: yeah, okay, here.

Matt: can I also have a bite of yours?
Mich: I-don't-understand-you
Matt: I said I want a bite your sandwich!
Mich: I-don't-understand-you
Matt: arrggghhh!!!!!
Mich: are-you-angry-Matthew
Matt: YESSSS!!!
